About the Authors
Steven S. Zumdahl received his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has taught chemistry for over 25 years at the University of Colorado – Boulder. He has received numerous awards for his teaching, including the American Chemical Society’s George C. Pimentel Award in Chemical Education and the University of Colorado’s Elizabeth H. Simmons Memorial Award for Excellence in Teaching. Zumdahl has authored or co-authored nearly 50 textbooks and has given over 100 talks and workshops on teaching chemistry.
Susan A. Zumdahl also received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has taught chemistry for over 20 years at the University of Colorado – Boulder.
